Idea for a new module in CDP that helps Dealers track finances related to cards for tax purposes as well as making decisions on accepting offers/pricing, and other accounting needs. Many dealers keep their accounting info in Google Sheets / Excel and have a manual, time consuming process to keep track of profitability, expenses, prepare data ingestion into tax software, etc... There are robust solutions for accounting for small businesses but these are often too complex and expensive for card dealers, especially those who sell part time. This module would provide a lightweight but essential functionality for dealers and could: integrate with CDPs native Inventory Management leverage Cost Basis information already entered for each card give guidance on whether to accept an offer or not present profitability across all inventory, or subsets of inventory export csv info for import into TurboTax or other tax preparation software, or import into more robust accounting software. etc...
