Title:
Use Pokémon Card Backs to Identify English vs. Japanese Cards
Details:
When scanning Pokémon cards, have the AI analyze the back of the card in addition to the front. English/international Pokémon cards and Japanese Pokémon cards have visibly different card backs, so this should provide a strong signal for determining the correct language/set database.
This would prevent the AI from matching an English card to a Japanese set (or vice versa), reducing incorrect matches and the amount of manual correction needed during large batch processing.
Ideally, the workflow would be:
Scan front + back → detect card-back type → limit identification results to the corresponding language/database → identify the card.
