Shopify | Automate manual steps taken for each card on Shopify

When listing to Shopify via CDP the following steps are required:
In CDP:
- Select card(s) to send
- Send the card(s) to Shopify
- Wait for the listings to be created.
In Shopify:
- Go to Products
- Select the recent items that were sent from CDP
- *Add the Product Category
- Change the Vendor from CDP
- Select Online Store and Shop as the sales channels
- Add Weight
- Add the Collection it should go to
- Select the Sales Channels
This enhancement would further automate some frequently repeated manual steps.
As part of the investigation we'll investigate if instead of sending it as an "Active" listing, we send it as a "Draft" listing. This may make it easier to spot what the recent uploads are.

Customer Feedback:
"Need to set the Shopify sales category and have that pass along with the card data. “Sports Trading Cards in Collectible Trading Cards” is the one I generally use. This helps the discovery of it through the Shop app. "

Customer Feedback:
"Need to have default sales channels defined. (i.e. Online Store, Point of Sale, Shop etc.). These should be a default that can be passed along as well."

Shopify - Overall Time Cost Isn’t Reduced

Because the Shopify integration requires so much manual correction after syncing, it ends up adding work rather than removing it.
What I (and many other sellers) are looking for is a reliable, fully functional integration that:
Syncs inventory both ways
Respects Shopify’s product architecture
Lets users map fields
Supports variant-level data
Pushes optimized images
Reduces the total number of manual steps
