ID | Prioritize common base cards vs. very rare parallels

Occasionally Magic Scan will recommend a card for matching that is very rare and is very like NOT the correct match (ex/ a 1/1, /5, /10 instead of the base card, a Topps Micro instead of Topps for 1980s baseball cards, etc....).
This enhancement will ensure that the list of potential matches shows very common cards at or near the top of the list, while preserving accurate matches for true rare cards (which we don't want to miss).

modern cards have dozens of variations/parallels. When trying to find a match in the database for a card, in the search the dozens of parallel types always bubble to the top of the list meaning you have to take a lot of extra time to scroll to the bottom of the list to find the base cards. When doing the database match search, could you bubble the base card to the top of the list?

This would be a huge help. Happens way too often. Also critical to identify what is base when there are versions denoted by A vs B etc as well.

Organize Magic Scan Results by Card Variant ie Base, Base Refractors, #'d Cards IN ORDER, etc

Sorting the results would allow you to quickly scroll down to your needed variation. Right now the base card might be in the middle of all the results, the gold to /50 might be above the base, the base refractor is toward the very bottom. If there is consistency I am not sure what it is. Would love to see these results in some sort of order from most common to least common with the #'d cards in sequential order, perhaps descending so out of /499 is listed first, then /250, etc.

Default to Base Card
Cards Mountain Man
Since CDP struggles identifying variations and parallels, default to the base card. Its easier to add that info than to change it. Also, on the variation drop down a search field would be helpful (Blue, gold, /99, etc.) to make going through the list quicker. Include an option to limit the batch to base WITHOUT having to select a specific year/set.

I really wish it would just do the common ones at the top of the list, refractor, xfractor, raywave etc. The stuff people are likely to have at the top first then the big list after.

This needs to be the default at this time the ai is basically 99% ineffective at grabbing the correct parallel it should just stop trying.

thank you, with modern cards, this will be a huge time saver

Additional report from user Dexter - Often if there are multiple possible cards returned from Magic Scan, the first one selected is a very rare variant or parallel (1991 Topps Micro instead of 1991 Topps, Panini Prizm /5 instead of base, etc…
